The
Equipment
We supply you with all you need:
snorkels, masks, fins and life
jackets.
We pride ourselves in
having searched out and located many of Tobago's truly pristine and
unspoiled coral gardens and reefs.
We accompany our snorkeling guests to
these sites, located on the protected Caribbean side of the island.
The
water is very clear - visibility regularly reaches
up to 150 ft.
There are over one
thousand different species of animals, fish and plants found in
Tobago’s near shore waters (within 200ft.). Most of these
creatures are interdependent and they exist in natural balance with
one another.

The Reefs
Tobago's reef formations are
generally made up of hard
coral
but also have an incredible array of algal crests and
gorgonian
gardens displaying giant sea fans, whips and
plumes.
These all look more like bushy plants rather than
animals
(which in fact all corals are).
Great
brain corals in gorgeous colors, staghorn, elkhorn,
fire
coral, brightly colored giant tube sponges and
anemones
further enhance this enchanting mosaic.

The Fish
Of course you will see an
incredible variety of fish such as:
the gray, blue and queen angel
fish, tiger grouper,
trumpet
fish, large rainbow and midnight parrotfish,
puffer fish,
trunk fish, butterfly fish and perhaps a green
moray
eel or spotted ray.
Tobago is one of the few
areas in the world that divers can regularly and safely swim close
by barracuda, mantas or huge sea turtles.
